Description

This auction is for the Diamond Head Vinyl Album: Lightning To The Nations.  Released in 1980 on the Happy Face Records Label with the following catalogue number: MMDHLP 1015, the label contains the address of the record company: Happy Face Records, The Old Smithy, Post Office Lane, Kempsey, Worcester.  Proudced by Reg Fellows and Diamond Head the album comes housed in clear plastic liner, and the outer is a white cardboard sleeve.  Now I know there was only a 1000 copies of this album released with at least one signature of one of the band members on the white cover, but mine only has Diamond Head written on the white cover, and only ever had that when I brought it way back when I was living in Kenilworth, so either this is extremely rare or not so rare, you might be able to tell me.  Anyway, time to move on and let go of those NWOBHM heydays and let somebody else enjoy this truly classic British rock album.  Initially, there are some pops and hisses when playing both sides of the vinyl (come on its well over 30-years old), but it still sounds superb even now eat you’re heart out Metallica.  Full Track Listing:
