This is the second batch pressing with labels. I have owned this album since 1982; I bought it second hand for £10 off a friend-of-a-friend from 6th form college as all the originals were long sold out. My best school mate Jake Baddeley (now a famous artist - see www.jakebaddeley.com) hand drew the design in black ink on the front of the original blank card cover (see the photos). This is a unique original one-off piece of artwork. The band (Brian Tatler, Sean Harris, Colin Kimberley and Duncan Scott) signed the back of the cover after the Huddersfield Polytechnic gig on 1st May 1982. See the original ticket No. 001 (which will be included with the album). Dedications are "To Matt" (me), plus this note from Sean Harris: "I hope this was worth £10. Make Sure the Front of this Cover is as brilliant as our forthcoming album Living on . . . Borrowed Time".
Condition is "Used".
The vinyl is in near mint condition. This was a treasured item in my collection and has been well looked after. It has just been cleaned with an ultrasonic record cleaning machine and looks like new. There are a few spindle marks on the labels. The vinyl is stored in a new poly lined inner sleeve, the original poly inner will be provided for the collector. The cover is the original white card sleeve and was decorated with a unique hand drawn cover and signed by the band in 1982. This comes in a new Spincare outer polythene sleeve.
Dispatched in a Music Max mailer, with Royal Mail UK Special Delivery to cover the value of the item.
I have more signed Diamond Head vinyl and memorabilia for sale - please look out for my other items.
