Description

DIE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'

Widely acknowledged by many audiophiles worldwide to be the ultimate stereo source for this album, this incredible sounding 1970's German pressing of 'Please, Please Me' was cut in using an 'uncompressed' tape which lacks the secondary EQ added to the UK pressing.

The result is in the best sounding version of this album available on any format and can only be found on this German pressing with '-2/-2' matrices.

Later German Apple pressings DO NOT sound the same and have inferior '04219-A2/04219-B1' matrices.

The MINT audio copy of the above mentioned pressing dates is on the correct red & black 'Hör-Zu' label SHZE 117

Matrix numbers: SHZE 117-A-2 & SHZE 117-B-2

Vinyl weight: 135g

The disc is housed within a fully laminated German printed cover, complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve. CONDITION

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

A vivid & vibrant unworn pair with just a single tiny spindle mark to each completely unworn centre hole and even less on side 1 indicating minimal careful play.

Visual: MINT

Outstanding deep-gloss playing surfaces which are completely 'as new' & unmarked in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Sound Quality: MINT

Incredible and flawless sound quality which will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A very strong and firm example with a hint of storage but no major faults throughout. The front panel is clean and glossy bearing just a tiny nick to the front opening edge but no damage or wear to any corner. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is fully worded and completely unworn.

Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT

Clean & flat with no writing, tears or seam splits.
