Description

DIE BEATLES - 'DIE ZENTRALE TANZSCHAFFE' ('PLEASE, PLEASE ME')

GERMAN AUDIOPHILE PRESSING LP

Regarded by many audiophiles worldwide as the ultimate stereo source for this album, this incredible sounding 'uncompressed' mix was first cut in Germany in the early '70's without the secondary EQ added to the UK cut. This mix is only available on this German second edition pressing with '-2' matrices.

This outstanding copy of that pressing is on the red Hörzu Label: SHZE 117

Housed in its original fully laminated cover & original inner-sleeve.

Matrix nos: SHZE 112-A-2 & SHZE 112-B-2

Disc weight: 132g

CONDITION

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

A clean & unblemished pair with only a handful of clumsy spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: 1. EXCELLENT + 2. NEAR MINT

Both playing surfaces are retain all of their 'as new' deep gloss shines. I have downgraded side 1 slightly due to a single 5mm mark on the final track  (which can just be seen at the top edge of the 1st image right) - otherwise both playing surface are unmarked in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Play: NEAR MINT

This amazing sounding disc has barely played and as a result incredible sound is completely unworn throughout. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and the aforementioned mark on the final track on side 1 produces just three faint 'pops' on the final chord of 'Please, Please Me'. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with the sound on this incredible pressing.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A clean, glossy and strong example with just a touch of light handling/storagewear, but no major issues.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT
