Dire Straits Brothers In Arms Lp Uk 1st Press [Ex/Ex] **No STING CREDIT**

Description

1st stereo press. Matrix 2/3. If you recall the story .... STING vocals are on MFN. When the record execs realised it was gonna be a massive hit they got the lawyers involved, All later copies will have the asterisk next to MFN with the Sting credit! Original 1st issue cover and includes original inner too. Another bonus with the early copies --- no hype stickers¬! 90% of copies made in year 1 probably have the hype stickers. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.

Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out one light mark per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple off slight deviations in a couple of spots per side .. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A near master copy for sure and you are not going to get this sort of presence from later reissues. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolate spots per side.
Cover (Ex) Clean and flat front and rear with just some minor edge wear in a couple of spots.  Spine is 90%+ intact with text fully legible. Sharp openings and excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Hardly any ageing.
