Description
This is a beautifully preserved copy of Dire Straits 1984 double album on the Vertigo Label - "Alchemy - Dire Straits Live" which essentially contains some of their greatest hits. As can be seen from the photo's it presents in lovely order for its age - 30 years! The albums gatefold sleeve is in nice clean order - no rips,tears or writing, the edges and spine are all as they should be - neat ,crisp,straight and tidy. There is absolutely no fading to the colouring at all it presents beautifully - please see photos.
The inner sleeves are present and have inner liners(black) to protect the vinyl's, they are both well preserved and clean.
The vinyl: Presents with a full glossy sheene to all four sides.The labels are clean and fresh. Looking at the actual vinyl's (I believe it is the modern lightweight type) and under very bright lighting conditions I am able to detect very light surface markings that appear to be consistent with sleeve insertion/removal as opposed to misuse etc. on all four sides (please see pictures), it is probable that one will hear the odd crackle that is often associated with ageing vinyl so I cannot fully guarantee the exact quality of the audio reproduction - that said,the grading of the vinyls in my view are very good to excellent. Unfortunately at this time I do not possess any audio equipment to further enhance this appraisal.
