Description
Here it is: the instantly legendary Dirtbombs 7", "Kick Me" b/w "The Crunch," on GRAY MARBLE vinyl. As you are probably aware, this was only available to those who annihilated their copy of the Dirtbombs' "Race to the Bottom" 12" and mailed the mauled remnants to Cass Records. I melted mine in the oven and rolled it up into a ball-like form. 'Twas fun.
This one is limited to a woefully scant 200 copies, not all of which will ever make it out to the general, vinyl-vitiating public (some copies were reserved for Cass insiders). Put another way, this is the most difficult-to-obtain Dirtbombs record in existence. It never was, and never will be, available in stores. Both sides are covers of songs penned by Ray Columbus, a first-generation (1960's) garage rocker from New Zealand who is formidable talent in his own right.
My camera cable is at my wife's workplace, but once I retrieve it tomorrow, I shall add pics. The vinyl is new and unplayed. It comes in a generic white outer sleeve (i.e., no proper pic sleeve). Large center hole.
I also have a copy of the "Race to the Bottom" 12" listed right now. Having both records would be quite the conversation-starter! I doubt many people have both, for obvious logistical reasons....
Shipping within the US will be $3.00 via USPS first class mail, $6.00 via Priority. Tracking and delivery confirmation are included. I ship in sturdy cardboard mailers designed specifically for that purpose.
Shipping to Canada is $5.50. To Western Europe (except for Italy; see below*) and the UK, it's $6.50. If you live elsewhere, please contact me for shipping rates before bidding.
Well, I guess that's about it. If you have any questions, ask away, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks!
*I have had trouble with packages Italy taking a very long time or never arriving at all. For this reason, I only ship to Italy via Express International, which is $25. I regret having to do this, but I just want us all to be protected.
****UPDATE**** Picture added! It won't seem to let me set it as the "main pic," but that's OK.
