Description

From 23rd November with Kenny Everett on the front page in colour (middle pages also in colour), this piece of pop history features pictures and/or articles on Marion Ryan/Engelbert Humperdinck/George Harrison/Roger Daltry/Lulu/Bandwagon/Malcolm Roberts in middle pages/British Blues Boom 4 page special with major feature on John Mayall/Marbles/Emperor Rosko/Aphrodites Child/Grace Slick/Paul McCartney & Linda Eastman and smaller articles and/or pics on Eric Clapton/Alvin Lee/Peter Green/Stan Webb/Seekers/Bubblegum/Stuart Henry/Lynton Guest/Scott Walker + dozens of other pieces of pop news of the day as well as the UK top 30, top 20 LP's and the US top 20. Also has the latest record reviews, including a track by track review of the Stones Beggars Banquet LP as well as a letters page which I sometimes find very interesting.  The crossword is untouched. This issue is back to 28 pages and  is one of thousands I bought new in the 60's. They've been in my loft and untouched for over 25 years. The edges have slight wear and there are four 1" tears on the edges of the middle pages (not affecting text). It has also very slightly browned with age. Not in bad condition for a near 40 year old pop mag. I would imagine that most of these would have been thrown out over the years, making this and others I have quite rare.
