Description

Disney America Sings Record Burl Ives LP w Book DISNEYLAND Splash Mountain 3812 
Cover is in very good condition with minor wear. Book is intact and in excellent condition. Record is in outstanding condition; it does not appear to have been played. Record is in a generic white sleeve.

America Sings was a Disney Theme Park attraction that first opened in June of 1974 at Disneyland.  The attraction was housed in the rotating Carousel Theater, replacing The Carousel of Progress.

The show was hosted by Burl Ives as Sam the Eagle and traveled through American history in song with animal animatronics.  The attraction closed in 1988, but some of the artifacts were part of Splash Mountain.


Side one includes the original soundtrack to the Disneyland attraction America Sings featuring Burl Ives as Sam the Eagle along with other Disney cast.


Side two includes seven Burl Ives songs of which five were from the 1964 album #ST-3927.
