Walt Disney Presents Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories (Disneyland ST3960)
Sweet survivor! This is a first-press purple-label Disneyland issue of "Just So Stories," put out in 1967 after the success of "The Jungle Book" and narrated by the inestimable Sterling Holloway with music by Camarata. This is a beautiful copy, and it's got the gatefold jacket with full-color 12-page illustrated story booklet inside. Lovely!
Vinyl is remarkably NM, with no marks or scratches - remarkable because these Lps generally were played by tiny tots with grubby fingers on crappy portable phonographs with a steel spike for a needle. Labels are clean and bright. Jacket is also NM, with tight seams, crisp corners, and the booklet fully intact and glued into the gatefold. I've never seen a nicer copy of this disc!
