Dizzy Gillespie Groovin High with Charlie Parker Sonny Stitt Original US Savoy issue MG 12020 An Iconic LP !! So Rare to find these days Vinyl is in Ex+ condition so clean and Ex play as well with just the slightest of crackle at the start! The Sleeve is laminated on the front with some tape residue on the corners and a split of about 4" on the spine Such a Rare Copy !! Auction starts at £3

I do not charge for packaging BUT that does not mean I do not package properly.
I despair at some of the records I receive through the post without any 'fragile' or 'do not bend ' stickers on the record, or even any more packaging than BROWN PAPER with a name and address and nothing else
I package records properly with proper thought to the process of sending a fragile easily bent and therefore ruined vinyl record
I will take the record out of its sleeve and enclose both sleeve and vinyl within a plastic sleeve, enclose that within at least 2 good quality cardboard stiffeners, put extra cardboard at the corners to prevent any edge and corner bends, finally I will enclose all that into either a top quality heavy cardboard mailer or a good quality mailing box with a good amount of bubble wrap and strengthening cardboard.
With very fragile 78rpm shellac gramophone records i will enclose the record within a plastic sleeve, sandwich the record between two cardboard stiffeners and 2 x 1cm thick, hard plastic sheeting which is light but strong, thus offering resistance to bending and impacts but not adding significantly to weight costs
All of the above is free as you will only pay what the Royal Mail will charge me !!
My postage charge for dispatch within the UK is £4.50 for 1 or 2 single vinyl 12" disc
£2.50 for 1 or 2 single 7" record
£6 for 3 x 12" discs
And £3 for 3 x 7" singles
These prices are what the post office will charge me for 1st class signed for delivery
I will not compromise on this by sending 2nd class or not signed for
I do not make any profit on the actual postage costs
