Description
Doctor W. J. Stafford - Drop Drugs! Get Hooked On Jesus (Lefevre Sound MLSP-3180)
A monumental Gospel Funk rarity from Atlanta featuring Dr. Stafford backed by Freddie Terrell's Soul Expedition band, recorded during the very same sessions that yielded the Soul Expedition album. This album is easily as rare as it's funky sibling, and has been quietly sought after by many since it was mentioned in Wax Poetics Issue 22. Here's a beautiful copy that has been very well cared for over the years.
Sound Files:
1. Get Hooked On Jesus
2. Take Your Burdens To the Lord
3. I Don't Know What This World Is Coming To
Condition:
Vinyl: VG++
