Description

I could not find a clear reference in the discographies to this LP. From the tune title it appears to be recorded in Paris in July, 1952 and includes George Daly, vibes; Christian Chevalier, piano; Pierre Michelot, bass; Richie Frost, drums. From the Jepsen updated discography, more than 1 “take” was recorded of almost all the tunes but as there is no clear reference to this record, the “takes” can not be distinguished. Rare. Cover: VG+ or better. Some aging on the front and back cover. A 3” split on the spine and some corner wear. Record: VG+ or better. Visually shows no wear. There are some very small “bubble-like bumps” in the vinyl. For the most these do not affect the sound, though there is an occasional light click and some barely audible groove noise. All of this is obviously in the pressing as the record appears to have had very few plays. I have not rated this mint(-) only because of the quality of the vinyl. The music is very clear with only minimum noise. Audibly checked.
