Description
Red label with white text, original issue. Recorded "live" at the Jazzhus Montmartre, Copenhagen. John Tchicai, alto sax; Don Moore, bass; Don Cherry, cornet; J.C. Moses, drums; Archie Shepp, tenor sax. 6 tracks. 4 arranged by Bill Dixon. Recorded on Nov. 15, 1963. Notes in English. Very rare original issue.
Cover: VG++ Intact. Previous owner has written the name of artists associated with 5 tunes next to the tune on the tune schedule on the back cover. Also, a record date is encircled. The markings are in ink. Fine overall condition.
Record: Mint (-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a very few times with care. There is minor groove noise at the beginning of track 1 Side B with 5 or 6 clicks that originate from a "pin-point" marking in the vinyl. The marking was made during the pressing of the record and not caused by wear. The sound is light and the tracking is not affected. Overall fine sound. I have included the (-) to adjust for the noise described. Audibly checked.
