Mega Rare LP of Don Ellis - Essence (Pacific Jazz 55 - mono) Original black label edition - NOT a current re-issue! Legendary early session for trumpeter Ellis along with Paul Bley, Gary Peacock, Gene Stone and Nick Martinis in a rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG++/ Near Mint condition with minimal marks (hardly worth reporting) and with most if not all of the original shine - not quite for the audiophile, but still in really nice condition for an LP of this vintage. The cover is in strong VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. A very strong copy of a rare classic.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling LPs around the world).
