Description

The Don Savage Seven 7" EP: Session With Savage. 1958  UK pressing on the PYE NIXA label. Cat No: NJE 1048. Picture sleeve has some light edge wear to opening. Sleeve graded EX. Vinyl has clean labels and minimal spindle wear. There are some  light marks that are more visible when held at an angle to a bright light. There is the occasional light background but no major deterioration in sound quality.  Vinyl graded VG+/EX-. Mega rare and virtually impossible to find British Jazz EP. I can find very little information on the internet about this single, aside from the fact that it appears in Rare British Jazz/PYE NIXA discographies. Features the talents of Don Savage (alto); Bert Courtley (Trumpet, who later played with Don Rendell); Art Ellefson (tenor); Bernie George (baritone) etc.

Apologies for the poor lighting on the photos that makes the item look darker than it actually is.

 Unfortunately due to fake bids on several records and additonal suspected fraudulent activity, I am no longer willing to sell items and ship to the Russian Federation or the Ukraine. Sincere apologies to any previous buyers from these countries, but it`s becoming more than a nuisance.
