Description
Don Wilkerson - Preach Brother LP on Blue Note Records #84107. Scarce vintage Jazz LP. Original Stereo pressing with the classic BLUE NOTE blue and white labels and the New York USA address on the labels. Van Gelder and Stereo stamps are on the trail off grooves of both sides. The matrix numbers are hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. Address on jacket is 43 West 61st St, New York 23. Accompanying Mr Wilkerson are guitar genius Grant Green, Sonny Clark, Butch Warren, and Billy Higgins. The tunes are;
Jeanie-Weanie Homesick Blues Dem Tambourines Camp Meetin' The Eldorado Shuffle Pigeon Peas
The vinyl is in VG condition, showing some scuffs / marks causing a few pops, but good and loud STEREO. The cover is EX. It has shrink wrapped still attached, protecting it all these years. No spine wear, very slight wear near bottom at opening. There is also slight sign of water, visible on the bottom R corner of the back - doesn't show on the front - maybe 1" isosceles triangle. Otherwise - beautiful!
