Description
The record has 47 West 63rd NYC address on both labels; same address on the bottom of the back cover. Deep groove on both sides of the record. The record has "RVG" and the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax. 6 tracks. Mono. Leader, Donald Byrd, trumpet; Charlie Rouse, tenor sax; Pepper Adams, baritone sax; Walter Davis, Jr., piano; Sam Jones, bass; Art Taylor, drums.
Cover: VG(-) 2" & 4" split on the spine with some paper loss. Corner wear. Sticker on the bottom corner of the front cover near the spine. Some peeling of the lamination on the insert edge. Very light aging on the back cover.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a small number of light surface rub marks and a few light brush-like surface rub marks on both sides. These do not affect the sound. 1 or 2 revolutions on Side 1 have minor groove noise. 2 revolutions at the beginning of Track 1, Side 2 have slight groove noise. The balance of the record has no noise. Fine condition. Audibly checked.
