Donald Byrd, "Byrd In Hand", DG Mono. Blue Note BLP 4019 (1959 Original) Featuring: Donald Byrd- trumpet, Charlie Rouse / Pepper Adams - sax, Sam Jones - bass, Walter Davis Jr. - piano, Art Taylor - drums.

COVER: VG+ Shelf wear, Ink on back. 47 West 63rd Street, New York 23 address. Very presentable 1959 original cover with excellent gloss and minimal general wear. There is one narrow vertical area (~1/6" wide × full length) where the lamination has lifted.
RECORD: VG+ Hairlines, sleeve marks. Strong fidelity and volume. Plays excellent while some consistent background crackle can be heard in quiet areas between tracks. Small scratch in center of A3 will tic for approx. 25 rotations. 1959 Original. "RVG" and Plastylite "P" ("Ear") in deadwax. 47 W. 63rd NYC address on labels. Very nice example of this scarce OG Blue Note title.
