Description
Donald Byrd Byrd's Word Savoy MG 12032 original pressing red label 1955 record. Proof of original pressing is that in the first release of this record, the name Dave Chambers appears on the back of the record as the bassist and we should all know no such person was there, it was the greatest bass player ever, Mr. Paul Chambers, later editions corrected this error and this should let collectors know that they have a true first pressing of this classic record.Record is in VG+ condition, just a trace of surface noise near beginning, but clean otherwise and 2 tiny surface marks on Side 1 so VG+ condition ranking.
