Description

This is an original stereo pressing of Blue Note 84188, ‘Im Tryin’ to Get Home’ led by Donald Byrd. It is on the ‘New York USA’ labels, and has the ‘van gelder’ ‘stereo’ machine stamping as well as the ‘P’ or ‘Ear’ etching in the deadwax, indicative of the Plastylite pressing plant.  The sleeve is VG +, with no real issues other than an unfortunate corner bump in the top left corner and the beginning of ring wear. This is pictured. The record is NM-, with the only flaws being: one faint handling mark on one side and a few very faint sleeve scuffs. I use the standard Goldmine Records grading system.
