Donald Byrd  ' Byrd's word '  SAVOY MG 12032 (USA) red label - deep groove - rec. and published in 1956 - first original issue - on trail-off (dead wax) of both label has printed 'RVG' (Rudy Van Gelder)
Donald Byrd : trumpet - Frank Foster : tenor sax - Hank Jones : piano - Dave (Paul) Chambers : bass - Kenny Clarke : drums Side 1 Winterset - Gotcha goin' n comin'  Side 2 : Long green - Star eyes - Someone to watch over me
Visual grading : record is VG to VG+  has some marks and light scuffs on both sides but nothing serious. Has also a visible hairline on side 2 and a shop's sticker on top of 1 label (see pic)   Playing grading : record is almost EX plays with some audible  occasional minimal background noise, few tics, expecially in few quieter passages, but for most part record plays EX+ The sound is great, loud and clear.  The music is wonderful   Cover grading :  cover is VG only because has a short seam split on top right corner (cm.4 or 2"). Light general noticeable wear to the edges and corners
