Vinyl has nice gloss (some light streaks and shadows in pics).  I play tested this record because I love Steely Dan and Donald Fagen.  This record plays very nicely and a solid excellent.  Side 1 track 2 has a  visible 1 inch mark on it.  When play tested - it played just fine.  (if this mark is going to bother you I would look at another listing).  Side 2 solid excellent.  Again, I thought this record played very well (probably because I ultrasoniclly cleaned it).  Cover is excellent....lightest of shelf and ring wear back cover.  I almost kept this as it is one of my favorite records of all time (as is the CD).
