Description
This is a first UK pressing of Donovan’s much celebrated career highlight, A Gift from a Flower to a Garden.
One of the first rock album box sets of its kind. This album consists of two vinyl discs, each with its own theme.
The records here are both in excellent condition. There maybe the faintest surface mark here and there but overall these look incredible. I can’t see any obvious scratches at all and the shine on these discs hint that these have barely ever been played.
In comparison, the box here does show its age with a little fraying around the edges and general wear. Structurally, this copy has held up well over its near 60 years with all 4 corners in tact and no splits. It does show a little bowing and some creasing, mainly noticeable on the front of the box. There is a small pen mark too. Please see photos for a better idea of the condition of the box.
Originally this pressing would have come with 12 inserts with the lyrics to various songs printed on them. These are unfortunately missing here.
