Description
Doo Wop group 45 ORIOLES “Barfly”/Gettin’ Tired, Tired” JUBILEE ’53 orig HEAR
Artist: The ORIOLES
Titles: “Barfly” / “Getting’ Tired, Tired, Tired”
Label: JUBILEE. Stock copy, label is royal blue with silver text. Catalog number is 45-5084.
Year: 1952
NOTE: This record was found in a recent Baltimore house cleanout among a handful of early 50s singles in a brown paper bag where they had been carefully preserved for decades. Its heavy green “Recordvelope” sleeve was stamped with the call letters for renowned Baltimore radio station W-C-A-O.
Condition: Vinyl is very clean, obviously has been played only a small number of times and handled with reasonably good care. Visual grade is VG++ with a couple very slight scuffs/slide lines, but no serious marks or signs of rough treatment. There is a bubble approximately 2/3rds of the way throughon both sides, but the record played through with no problems on my turntable, which has a light tone arm, so I expect it will play fine on yours. The sound is very clean as you can hear in the attached sound clips. No warps, skips, or jumps. As with all my records, your satisfaction is fully guaranteed.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
<< To hear sound clips from both sides of this actual record in their entirety, please click on the eCommerce-Player icon in the AUDIO box at the top of the page. No noise modification software has been used – what you hear is what you will get. >>
