Description
Doo wop group 45 ~ VEL-TONES “Playboy” / “Cal’s Tune” on KAPP ’59 orig nice HEAR
Artist: The VEL-TONES
Titles: “Playboy” / “Cal’s Tune”
Label: KAPP ~ K-268. Labels are brown/white with brown text. Promotion copy.
Year: 1959
Condition: Visual grade is EXCELLENT with 100% of original gloss. There are some very slight hairlines that produce some soft tics in the early going, but never overwhelms the music and the listening experience is enjoyable, as you can hear in the accompanying sound clips. Fidelity is clean and crisp. I would grade the sound quality as VG+ to VG++.
Labels have writing in black felt marker (radio station notations), otherwise clean.
Comes with authentic original KAPP RECORDS factory sleeve in excellent condition.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic first pressing. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
<< To hear a sound clip from both sides of this actual record in their entirety, please click on the eCommerce-Player icon in the AUDIO box at the top of the page. The clips have received no alteration software modification whatsoever. What you hear is guaranteed to be what you get. >>
