Description

The Doors L.A. Woman Collectors box set Just 4,000 box sets produced by Bruce Botnick (he did all 5 of The Doors studio albums engineering), and manufactured by Elektra Records (again who did all 5 of the Doors Studio recordings), in partnership with Rhino Records for this box set.  A 2011 Record Store Day Exclusive! Limited Edition box set featuring the singles "Riders On The Storm," "The Changeling" and "Love Her Madly." It also includes a special 7" of outtakes and studio chatter from the recording sessions.  This last of 5 studio albums by The Doors was arguably their best seller. L.A. Woman, released in April 1971 (just a few months before Jim passed on July 3, 1971), gave us the ethereal "Riders on the Storm," lover's tune in Jim Morrison fashion "Love Her Madly" and the radio road-trip "L.A. Woman." This special box set includes an exact FULL SIZE reproduction of the original "Electric" L.A Woman promotional poster. Celebrate this monumental record's 40th Anniversary with this box set. Great collectable, so very MINT, sealed box set, for any Doors fan.
