Original OZ 2LP released in 1972 on Elektra Records. Cat: 8E6001. Comes in a gatefold sleeve.
Originally released in 1972, Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine was one of the earliest "best-of" Doors collections, compiling 22 tracks from the band not just limited to their many ubiquitous hits but including some more experimental tunes and a few obscure B-sides.
Tracks : Break on through/ Strange days/ Shaman’s blues/ Love street/ Peace frog (Blue Sunday)/ The wasp (Texas radio and the big beat)/ End of the night/ Love her madly/ Spanish caravan/ Ship of fools/ The spy/ The end/ Take it as it comes/ Running blue/ L.A. woman/ Five to one/ Who scared you/ (You need meat) don’t go no further/ Riders of the storm/ Maggie McGill/ Horse latitudes/ When the music’s over. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Records have some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackels and are in VG+ condition. Gatefol foldout cover has some ring wear, light marks, some small surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
