Description

If you are a Hardcore Doors Collector or are into FIRST PRESSINGS this is a rare one!! This is the Two LP SET Absolutely Live Elektra EKS 9002 Stereo. Now while this LP would go on to sell many copies over the years at the time of issue it wasn't a giant selling LP. Also note that this Elektra Label( The Deep/Darker Butterfly Label) would change to a much lighter color and many will state that these are Original for this LP(they are not). The Labels here(See scan) are a Deep color and have lamination going around the bottoms where the Elektra Address is(Unique).I also believe this to be a Promotional Copy(There is a smaller than a dime sized hole in the lower left hand corner which often denotes PROMO issues). Truthfully in my over 40 years of collecting do I rarely see ORIGINAL examples of this LP.Check out the Original Inner Sleeves(Both are in excellent shape but have some splitting near the bottom seams..not bad). Also interesting in the fact that the inners differ slighly with one including a London Address(both are USA Made and came with this LP). The LP/Gatefold Cover is also much more Darker/Vivid colorwise than later issues. Cover is NEAR MINT..A BEAUTY!! LPs are NEAR MINT with MINT LABELS(No Spindle Marks at all). Truthfully the nicest I have ever seen!! A TRUE KEEPER GEM!! Good Luck.
