Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several small 1950's label that I'm running this week. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an all-rockabilly auction starting 9/25 and an all Los Angeles label auction (Modern/RPM/Imperial, etc.) in October

Release: Dolly Cooper - Big Rock Inn / I'm Looking Through Your Window

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: One of two singles released on Dot by Cooper.  She started as more of a jazz vocalist, but her later 50's stuff is more R&B. This particular one is a real rocker with a bit of a rockabilly vibe, b-side is more of a traditional 50's ballad.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just one hairline on Big Rock, almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels have some scuffing and discoloration - maybe from light liquid exposure. Not too bad, but not perfect. Even with the labels, I think this one gets the low end of VG+ for how good it sounds.
