Description
Hyper rare jazz 1970 private pressing featuring Winston Ingram (saxophone) and Jonathan Cowen (double bass) giving six instrumental jazz treatments of: Green Dolphin Street, Laura, Take the 'A' Train, Unforgettable, Don't Blame Me and My Favourite Things.
Info in a typed sheet taped to the sleeve suggests Ingram was a music teacher and multi-instrumentalist, and Cowen one of his pupils.
This private recording, recorded in July 1970, very likely only resulted in a handful of pressings, so is extremely scarce. Ingram recorded one other collection on Deroy a few years afterwards.
Vinyl is in excellent condition and has barely been played.
Plain white outer sleeve and lined inner sleeve are in VG+ order.
Plain white labels with 'Winston Ingram' written on each side.
Rare find!
