The G+ record plays with nearly constant light surface noise owing not so much to the marks on the LP but to a light sheen over the surface of each side. There are no skips and it’s still an enjoyable listen despite its flaws. Aside from the sheen, the surfaces show light marks and sleeve scuffs. There’s one slightly raised small mark that causes some light ticking on the end of “Time is Running Out” leading into the beginning of “Jihad.” I noticed 23 light ticks. I should point out that the surface noise is much more prominent at the beginning of each side. As the music progresses on each side, you don’t really notice it much.

The VG sleeve has quite a few creases including one large crease coming down the middle of the cover from the top seam. There’s also a fraying corner with a centimeter seam split, corner wear, and edge wear.

This is a good opportunity to purchase a rare record at a great price.

Notes on my grading:
 
I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits. I’ve been selling LPs on eBay since 1999 and have 100% positive feedback.

NM: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records. 
 VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks. 
 VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
