Description
This is somewhat of a rarity - a UK copy of 'Bad Storm Coming' by the Downliners Sect (1965). An English R&B/Blues group in the early 60's beat boom era, they were stylistically similar to the 'Stones and Yardbirds.
The band were iconic for the period, partly owing to Don Craine's deerstalker cap which he wore to mock the aristocracy.
They had many fans who achieved commercial success, including Van Morrison, Steve Marriott, and Rod Stewart, the latter two of whom had even auditioned for a place in the band but were turned down because they both wanted to be frontmen, while Don Craine and Keith Grant did not wish to relinquish that role.
This copy has minimal usage scrapes (we've graded EX), spotless labels; plus has what appears to be a period-appropriate brown paper sleeve.
