Description

Dr. Strangely Strange---"Kip Of The Serenes"---Original UK In Great Condition!!

Here we have an original UK 1st pressed album in stereo from 1969 on the first pink eye Island label with a cat. no. ILPS 9106 and matrices A1 & B1.

Vinyl: Looks superb with no marks and it still has a very high gloss shine. Both sides play just about EX with a handfull of light clicks each side but with no surface noise--very listenable indeed!.

Labels: NM. with very little visible spindle rash. These labels are almost like new.

Sleeve: EX. The E J Day sleeve is in a great condition with a little edge wear and if you look at the top right of the front as shown in the photo you will see a tiny white mark which looks like a little sticker damage. For the rarity value, most would not even bother.

I last saw Dr Strangely Strange in 1969, performing at Bristol Poly. on a stage about 2ft off the ground. Next on...well, they were supporting Sabbath!!! Anyone else remember that gig?

If you want the rare chance to own this record, start bidding as you won't find a better copy. With a low start price and no reserve you might get yourself a bargain!

       Tracks are as follows:

  • Strangely Strange But Oddly Normal
  • Dr Dim & Dr Strange
  • Roy Rogers
  • Dark-Haired Lady
  • On The West Cork Hack
  • A Tale Of Two Orphanages
  • Strings In The Earth And Air
  • Ship Of Fools
  • Frosty Mornings
  • Donnybrook Fair

Look at my other vinyl for sale, all of which is rated according to R.C. standards and are all listened to in their entirety before going to auction

Many thanks for looking
