Dr Z - Three Parts To My Soul - Vertigo Swirl LP 6360048.
Offered for sale here is the rarest of the Vertigo Swirl's
Full Description of condition:-
The Cover:- The most obvious damage to the cover can be clearly seen in the photos. The front cover has had an old price label removed which has caused loss to the upper front right quadrant. There is a 4" tear to the front cover from the middle of the heart to the spine. This has been modestly repaired to the rear of the cover with document tape, as shown in a photo. There are 2 folds to the opening flap under the heart, one of which shows as a ridge. There is another 1cm tear to the left opening flap near the top which has not been repaired. Both spines suffer from loss although the band name and title are mostly still visible. There are other fainter creases to the front less noticeable. The rear of the cover is in better condition although there is a small amount of loss and rubbing and minor ring wear.
The Insert:- From the photos you will see 2 areas of loss which are like 2 punch holes with some tearing loss associated with both of them. There is sellotape residue across the top of the insert for approx 6 inches. Some other minor creases.
Vertigo Swirl inner cover:- Some foxing to the edges and one fold crease can be seen.
The Record:- Visually - In ordinary light the record has a good shine and shows no major flaws. Under a stronger light the record has many fine lines covering it that would be associated with a lot of use. There are no major or deep scratches to be seen.
Playing - Both sides play very similar. In quiet parts of the album crackle and pops are noticeable and occasionally very noticeable. During louder parts less so and some areas of the album hardly at all. Side B has a large crackle area to be run in which settles more as the music begins. There are no jumps at all on the record.
I have set it as a Buy It Now and will accept an offer that I am comfortable with.
Posting only at present to the UK. It will be sent out by Royal Mail using their best tracking service which I think is almost £10 in the UK. This option is not available on the ebay postage page but will be sent like that.
