Description

  1. "
  2. "We approach every album like it's our first. It's been a great journey, but we're not going to stop."

  4. James LaBrie provides the perfect description for Dream Theater's new album here. "A View From The Top Of The World" is already the 15th studio work of the progressive metal icons from New York. But even after hundreds of shows, 15 million records sold and nearly four decades together, Dream Theater is still looking ahead. Their collective gaze never turns away from the future. Instead, LaBrie (vocals), John Petrucci (guitar), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), John Myung (bass) and Mike Mangini (drums) continue to explore new territory with the same spirit of sonic adventure.

  6. They recorded seven tracks for "A View From The Top Of The World," a few of which scratch the 10-minute mark and are equally steeped in articulate arrangements, groovy guitars and big melodies. With the title track, there's even another monumental 20-minute piece this times...."
