Duffo-Self Titled 1979 Australian new wave LP. Following the break up of jazz-rock band Kush, Jeff Duff recorded a solo single before heading to the UK and signing to Beggars Banquet as the waif-like androgynous oddball 'Duffo', fitting into the weirder end of the new wave scale. He recorded the album with other expat Aussies Mike Howlett (ex-Gong) on bass and David Herzog (ex-Kush) on guitar. The single 'Give Me Back My Brain' reached no. 60 on the UK mainstream charts in May 1979. Musically the album has hints of Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, The Tubes, The Kinks and Monty Python with Duffo singing the witty lyrics with a pronounced Australian accent. This is the rarer Australian pressing of the album. Autographed on the back cover with 'Hey Paul..' I can guarantee the authenticity of the signature having watched it being signed.

Tracks: see scans. Lable:Beggars Banquet/Atlantic Cat# 600043. Record is visually in Ex+ condition. Cover is Ex-. There is a little light creasing around opening edge of sleeve and just a hint of ring wear front and back. (see scans)

Vinyl:
M, mint condition, unplayed, with no marks on playing surface and labels as new.
M-, mint minus, either unplayed, with minimum scuffs caused by paper sleeve, or played once or twice only and still as new.
EX, excellent condition, record played carefully, very clean surface, minimum scuffing.
VG, very good condition, scuffing or signs of groove wear but no bad scratches. Only minor pops or crackles.
G, good condition, well played with plenty of scuffs, light scratches and groove wear.Noise evident but no jumps.
F, fair condition, playable but heavily scuffed or scratched, with a lot of surface noise. Maybe minor jumps from scratches.

Covers:
M, Mint - As New
Ex, Excellent – Very little ware – no marks or worn corners
VG, Very Good – some minor wear and some minor marks visible
G, Good – worn cover, may have creased corners, heavier marks, small tears but still complete
F, Fair – cover is worn and maybe torn.
