Description

Impact 1008 by Duke Browner: Crying Over You b/w Inst version. Machine stamped in the dead wax on vocal side: ZTSC 107892 1A, and on the instrumental side ZTSC 107492 1A.... Label condition see photos. No drill hole. Styrene pressing has lots of shallow hairlines, scuffs, angel hair, brushmarks. Vocal side is smooth to the touch and has no digs, gouges, or scratches that can be felt. Vocal side has a long, narrow 3 inch by 1/8 stain,which has resisted removal. This stain is at the beginning of the side, going 1/8th inch into the grooves. B side instro is the same, witthout the stain, and with an additional 4 to 5 deep scratches which can be felt. Listen closely to the sound clips, and please turn the player up to full volume at the bottom right. This 45 has gone to a lot of parties, been shuffled about with no sleeve, as the labels show. But it still plays boldly and reeks of Detroit soul, with moderate background noise, as you will hear when you listen to the clips. Grade this a visual VG-, but listen to the soundclips and compare this price to VG previous price realizations.
