Description
This Duke Ellington & John Coltrane self titled MONO LP is from the closing of a local estate with a collection of over 3000 (mostly jazz) LPs. The gatefold shows age-related shelf wear & there's a hole punch in the lower left coner, but the record itself is in very good+ condition. It's my understanding that this was released in 1963, which is consistent with the Impulse label used from 1960-1963 which can be identified by the text "A Product of Am-Par Record Corp" printed at the bottom center of the label.
The gentleman had his own filing system of his collection & every sleeve and/or box is labeled. You can see that label in the photos that I've uploaded.
I am NOT any kind of an expert in grading vinyl LPs but try to visually judge the condition according to the standards that I see other sellers using. I am not a collector or aficionado, I'm merely closing out an estate, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email...
