Description
This is United Artists Records UAJS 15017, Duke Ellington Money Jungle, a grey saxophone label original stereo issue of this iconic trio record with the ear (p) mark in the dead wax and featuring Charles Mingus and Max Roach. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The original textured cover has 6" of clear tape on the spine and pencil marks on the back but is otherwise intact. The labels are excellent and show light spindle marks. Despite the cover issues, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of a rare original. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
