Description
Very rare NORTHERN SOUL 45!!!!! Debbie Records label MT-1003
Duke Royal, a young Luther Kent back in the day, born in New Orleans.
Luther later recorded for Ode and FM Records and his first two 45s were on the regional Debbie Records imprint.
The songs are "Monkey On My Back" / "Can't Let You Go" It's a stock copy green and yellow label
The labels are near perfect, except the name "Betty Carter" in ballpoint pen on the "Can't Let You Go" side.
The vinyl is still has lots of shine, nicely kept except for a couple minor scuffs that are visible but not audible on playback on my turntable.
The sound quality is impressive, one of the cleanest playing 1960's 45's I've ever handled.
There is no reserve price on this auction.
Buyer pays exactly what it costs to ship with no mark up (please ignore the default 3 or 4 dollars listed above)
