Dukes of Dixieland –
NEW ORLEANS JAZZ –
Direct Disc Labs 113 – Direct-to-Disc –
Factory Sealed
If you’ve never heard a Dixieland Band “live,” pull up a listening chair.
The Dukes of Dixieland are one of the very finest ensembles of its kind and this is their only direct-to-disc record. Trust me, you will be looking for the players in your listening room, the sound is so vivid and alive. (The bell of the horns here can be felt on your skin!)
Great selections are BOGALOSA STRUT, WOLVERINE BLUES, YES SIR THAT’S MY BABY (fabulous!), WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN, and STUDS LONIGAN, among others.
One of the most transparent d2d LPs on the planet, here factory sealed.
Note, too, this is first lot, first stamper, disc # 317.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
