I am auctioning this item from my own personal Duran Duran collection to help raise funds for 9 year old Dylan. I first heard about Dylan and his plight when I read the story a week ago, written by Alan over at DDHQ (Duran Duran Head Quarters). It broke my heart to read it and it made me realise that life can be so cruel.
I'll leave it to Alan to tell the rest..
"My dear friend of 30 years, Sue, was diagnosed with cancer a year after her and her husband welcomed their precious child into this world eight years ago. Before Dylan was three, Sue's husband died unexpectedly of a heart attack. She lived with grace and tenacity battling cancer each time it returned, only to find out now that it has taken its toll and medical treatments are no longer an option."
He continues, "Her days now are filled with ensuring that her nine-year old son is taken care of when she is gone."
So, it's like this. I have a spare copy of this highly sought after and extremely collectible set that is gathering dust on my shelves. I don't need it and want to put it to good use. I wished I could do more.

Vinyl Factory Box Set Limited to just 500 copies and now deleted. It is also hand numbered and fully autographed by the 4 band members.
It is no longer available from Vinyl Factory. It includes 5 x Vinyls with a bespoke box with display front. This basically means you can house the vinyl in it and change the front design to suit your mood by replacing the vinyl cover artwork. The vinyl audio consists of the album itself and rare mixes of album tracks.
It's truly a work of art and the craftsmanship is exquisite. It doesn't deserve to be stored away. It should have pride of place close to your hi fi system and ENJOYED!
I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking! Please make sure you look at the photos carefully before bidding! There are one or two tiny marks on the front of the black lyric book. These were evident at point of original sale and really nothing to worry about. My own copy has the same.
Bidding start at 99p or you can buy it now for £500. Shipping costs will be deducted from the final sale or if the winning bidder would like to meet me half way with the costs then all the better as I can pass on more proceeds to Alan. At the close of auction, confirmation that the donation was passed on can be obtained if requested. I will also have the parcel insured against damage or loss when it is shipped out.
My sole aim is to raise as much money as possible. So please remember this when bidding..
