Dutch only SPACE AGE Joop Stokkermans electronics Click here to listen to a SOUND CLIP

THE MAGIC OF THE ARP SYNTHESISER by Joop Stokkermans and the Bert Paige orchestra. Record presents a whole range of weird space tracks. The repertoire could have been more adventurous, the renditions are pretty spacey! Inbetween old instrumental lounge, with wordless vocals and strings, and now sound with a bossa nova track and the great original Jazz Waltz. One track even has a very early vocoder. The Dutch Philips label has a good reputation for early electronics, with their own workshop and releases such as ones by Tom Dissevelt, Kid Baltan and Badings and this one. Recommended for the moogy space age freaks!

Philips (applaus series) Stereo 644 040 Holland. Record and sleeve NM.
