Description

Dvorak New World Symphony Istvan Kertesz conducts the VPO Decca SXL-2289

Side 1 Matrix:  ZAL-5172-4E
Side 2 Matrix: ZAL-5173-2E

Record:  VG++ condition.  Overall the record is NM- condition.  However, during the fourth movement, starting at roughly 4 minutes and 23 seconds, there is a series of intermittent pops.  This lasts for about a minute.  I tried to capture this scratch in the last photo.  The record plays through this just fine, but there are the pops I mentioned.  Before that and after that the only surface noise to be found is the sort associated with vintage Decca lp's from this era- only very occasional ticks or crackles.  Very dynamic throughout.  Not a top copy because of the scratch, but still very good and worth hearing.

Cover:  NM- condition.  Beautiful laminate is intact overall.  A few light creases to the cover, see photos.  A dinged corner, see pictures.  A small spot where the laminate and printing beneath are torn(below the "CH" in orchestra, see photo).  Inside of gatefold is beautiful with virtually no wear.  Original inner sleeve is included in great shape.

Record will be shipped in an extra inner sleeve to prevent any damage to the factory original.

LPs will be shipped in inner sleeve outside cover to avoid seam splits beyond any already mentioned.  LPs are shipped in lp mailers with extra protection to avoid damage.

Domestic shipping is $4.00 for USPS Media Mail.

If you want your items shipped via USPS Priority Mail please let me know before you pay and I will create an invoice reflecting the additional charge.

International Bidders:  I ship worldwide.  Please contact me for available shipping services to your area.

If you win multiple items:  Domestic Media Mail rate remains the same at $4.00.  USPS Priority Mail will be figured for multiple wins if desired.

THE SOONER YOU PAY THE SOONER I SHIP!  I SHIP EVERY DAY EXCEPT SUNDAY.

If you have any questions about this item please let me know.  I will gladly answer questions in as timely a fashion as possible.
