Description

THE EAGLES Desperado (Asylum)
THIS is the super rare MONO white label promotional copy of this classic album. It is a late mono only released to radio stations in the United States, never commercially available in mono! The mixes on the album are different from the conventional stereo release and are only available here on this pressing!

Condition on the cover is VG. It has the "DJ Copy Monaural" sticker and a small white sticker in the upper left corner. The spine is badly frayed with a two inch broken seam. Bottom seam is white and looking weak but doesn't appear to be all the way broken through. No seam tears near the flap. 

Condition in the record....side one rates a solid VG+ with minimal signs of handling and much gloss. Side two is VG with more handling marks and a scuff (visible in one of the pictures above) that can be felt to the touch. It covers two songs but is only audible on one, "Whatever Happened To Saturday Night" where it intermittently ticks softly for the first half of the song before going away completely. Overall, the album plays very quiet with scarcely any surface noise except for the aforementioned scuffed area. Both labels have a white sticker attached with radio station cues written on it. Side One has "single" written near the song "Tequila Sunrise". The words "The Eagles Side One Mono" and "The Eagles Side Two Mono" are in the dead wax area on the respective album sides.
