Description

Seldom seen, original 1950's deep groove pressing of King LP 515 - one of the label's earliest 12" albums - ALTO-TUDE by alto sax great EARL BOSTIC and his band (would you believe John Coltrane played in the band!)...from the days when King was ruled by Bostic and Bill Doggett who sometimes recorded together. Disc is in shockingly nice V G+ condition, sounds great....nearly free of marks! Cover is also surprisingly nice for a vintage King cover - renown for split seams. This cover has about a 6 inch split on the top seam and just fraying on bottom seam and spine.  Otherwise it only suffers from very slight storage wear!  You just don't see a lot of vintage King albums in nice condition!
