Disc in reasonable condition for a Berliner.  Edge Flake into grooves shown in pictures.  Non sounding minor scratch shown in pictures

Brian Rust in his Berliner discography wrote:  "On 17 May 1899 Fred Gaisberg and Sinkler Darby arrived in Leipzig as their first stop on a whirlwind tour of European Cities."
They stayed there until 1 June 1899.  So this disc is from those sessions.

As such I think it could be one of the earliest disc recordings made in Germany, but it is for the purchaser to verify this information.
