Description
Artist: CHARLIE MINGUS (CHARLES MINGUS)
Title: EAST COASTING BY CHARLIE MINGUS
Label / Cat#: BETHLEHEM / BCP 6019 (ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING MONO / DEEP GROOVE)
VINYL: (Looks VERY GOOD MINUS/Plays closer to VERY GOOD PLUS) Music plays through strong & loud with some audible pop & crackle throughout, still a very enjoyable playing record. The vinyl has a decent share of visible marks/scratches on both sides, but nothing too deep or effecting overall enjoyment of play. Please do take a listen to the excerpts taken from the actual record below. The labels look nice with a handful of spindle marks. Real Cool.)
COVER: (VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD) The shiny original laminated cover looks quite nice with some visible edge & shelf wear/scuffs, but nothing really distracting. There is some visible spotting/discoloring on the back of the cover, but nothing too serious or visually distracting. Please check out the pictures to see it for your yourself too. Sorry about the flash from the camera on the front cover, these glossy laminated Jazz classics are tough to photograph sometimes. Looks great.)
This auction is for a record that speaks for itself, the amazing EAST COASTING BY CHARLIE MINGUS, an original MONO BETHLEHEM BCP 6019 1st pressing. A real tough one to find, especially a copy not beat to complete smithereens. This one still sounds quite nice so grab it while you have the chance & be happier with life once you do. Thanks for viewing & good luck with this legendary Jazz treasure.
