In the 1880s, the Schrammel Brothers in Vienna created a new musical style of

Viennese folk music which was named after them. "Schrammelmusik" is still

played today in taverns in and around Vienna. A typical Schrammel ensemble

consists of two violins or fiddles, a double-necked contraguitar and a G clarinet.

Often a button accordion ("Schrammelharmonika") is added.  Songs are sentimental,

mostly about the fatalities of life, but always with tongue-in-cheek, often funny.

Here is a "Schrammel" group recorded by W. Sinkler Darby on his "First Independent

European Tour" in Berlin, 1899, as the A suffix tells us.

Very good condition, about V+ or better throughout, see scans.  Enjoyable.

cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
